This not only reduces the demand for virgin materials but also prevents the release of toxic substances into the environment.

Many manufacturers and retailers offer take-back programs, where you can return old devices for safe recycling. Before recycling, consider whether the device can be repaired or donated. Extending the life of electronics by repairing or repurposing them can significantly reduce e-waste. If repair is not an option, ensure that your data is securely erased before recycling the device.
