The article, “Starting a Sharing Revolution with Circular Packaging” celebrates shareclub’s success in tackling the pressing issue of disposable cup waste. Ireland discards approximately 200 million single-use coffee cups annually, contributing 3,700 tonnes of waste. Our circular model has shown remarkable promise, achieving a 98–99% return rate and eliminating single-use cups during major events like the Dublin Coffee Festival. Founder Sarah Fliessbach envisions shareclub becoming a key player in Ireland’s transition to a sustainable economy, with plans to expand internationally.

Recognition from Profit with Purpose underscores the power of early adopters, thoughtful design, and community engagement in driving meaningful environmental change. We are proud to contribute to the growing circular economy movement, working to make sustainability the norm in Ireland and beyond.

Let’s keep the momentum going! Together, we can inspire more organizations and individuals to join the revolution for a waste-free world. Stay tuned for more updates on shareclub’s journey.
