Making shareclub's Instagram More Accessible: #AccessibleContent Initiative

People and planet are in our core values, which is why we are working to make our digital channels more accessible, starting with Instagram. We want to ensure inclusivity and make our content more accessible to everyone, so we launched #AccessibleContent, an initiative dedicated to enhancing accessibility on our Instagram profile, ensuring that blind and visually impaired individuals can fully engage with our content.

Why It Matters

Social media is a powerful tool, but accessibility is often overlooked. This initiative doesn’t require high-tech solutions—just simple, meaningful actions that can positively impact people who, whether due to temporary or permanent conditions, cannot see the images we share. Without proper image descriptions or alternative text, key information gets lost, limiting engagement and understanding. With #AccessibleContent, we want to bridge this gap and make our Instagram content more inclusive.

What We're Doing

Since February 2025, we’ve been working to:
✅ Add detailed image and video descriptions to all our posts
✅ Apply best practices for accessibility, ensuring our content is easy to understand for everyone
✅ Promote digital inclusivity, allowing more people to engage with shareclub’s sustainability mission

We believe that everyone deserves equal access to information, and while this is just a small step, we know that improving accessibility is an ongoing journey.

We are open to ideas and feedback, so if you have any suggestions on how we can make our content even more inclusive, feel free to reach out. Your contribution can make a difference!

We’re excited to continue this journey and inspire others to prioritize accessibility in their digital presence. Let’s make social media a space where everyone feels included!
